so today was just like any other day.  I woke up and went to work.  Work was pretty ok...mainly on myspace the whole time.  Suddenly, i get a phone call from my mom to tell me to stop by at her work.  So i did...and i waited forever. Then she comes and sits beside me and i thought something was horribly wrong.  Then she says to me softly...

"dad got a phone call today.  It was from Barton.  You have been accepted and you also got a scholarship." 

my mom had the biggest smile on her face and i cried...in Target.  that has only happened once but this time it was meaningful.

i come home and my dad says congrats and i start crying and he starts crying...i cannot believe this.

life was upside down yesterday...the worst day ever...and now i'm on cloud nine!

Thank you Lord.

I already have a roommate and i'm also gonna be in the BSU praise band.  Everyone that knows me there are pretty excited.  I'm glad i have friends there and they keep growing.  i am so happy.

well...i think i should update i guess.

Life is pretty sweet lately.  things couldn't be better!  Let's just say life is about to change dramtically...in many ways too.

So what's new with Sarah?

well this week has been absolutely goregous outside and i've been pretty active out there. Washing my car, riding my bike through my old go-kart trails in the woods, walking my dogs, and cruising with the windows down and singing at the top of my lungs.  Life's simple pleasures.

This weekend i'm hanging out with the best people i know: the Lovelies and Josh and Patrick and my other Barton Buddies.  I'm mucho excited because i havent seen those fellows in quite some time!  I miss my Shugger! So i'll be at wonderful Barton this weekend. Whoop whoo!

Well, Sparky had to take a trip to West Craven this week...ugh, gag me.  It definitely felt weird walking through those halls again.  The reason why i was there was to get a copy of my high school transcript for a college application.  That school is even crazier...so loud and people are so young, sheesh!  I did see some friendly faces that i haven't seen in forever like my lovely Olivia and Stacie.  That was fun.  But yeah, being there just felt like a culture shock to me.

But anywho, that's about all that is new with me...Oh!  I have started a band.  yes...and i'm very plaeased about it.  I'm excited about this summer.  Erin and I wrote our first song together and its awesome!  And the other day at work a guy came in and i signed him in and he said i looked like Avril Lavigne (blargh).  Then i was writing a song in my book and he noticed it and asked if i write and i said yes.  Then asked if i play and i said yes and i told him the instruments and i said i was in a band.  Then he asked if i could sing and i said pretty good actually and he started writing stuff down.  It turned out to be contact information about his own studio.  I thought that was awesome!  And some guys at my work place knew of the studio too so i'm excited about that.

So, i'm pretty happy with life...well, minus one small detail but i will not discuss that.  It's a bother and a waste of time now.  I'm happy and moved on, just wish it would go away.
